1) the Dimension 1 field is blank &
2) the Sales Invoice date greater than or equal to today's date
Basically for anything pre 01/09/2020, the validation rule should not trigger

Hi Temitayo, Give this a try:
AND(
DATEVALUE(CreatedDate) >= DATE(2020, 1, 9),
Invoice.Date__c >= TODAY(),
ISBLANK(Dimension1__c)
)
Use DATE(2020, 9, 1) if you meant September 1st and not January 9th
Use ISBLANK(TEXT(Dimension1__c)) if it's a picklist.
Change the Invoice.Date__c to the actual API name of the field.
