I'm trying to create 2 reports and although I've gone through the community answers and found a couple of similar queries I've not been able to actually create the reports I need yet.

Converted Leads to Opportunities by Owner

The first report I want to create is to look at the leads per salesman, see their total number of leads, followed by the total number of converted leads followed by the conversion ratio and/or percentage.

Converted Leads to Opportunities by Source

The second report I want to create is to look at the leads by source, see the total number of leads per source, followed by the total number of converted leads, followed by the conversation ratio and/or percentage.

They're very similar report styles but I've been playing around for a while, including trying some custom formulas and can't seem to get the reports to work.

I'm using Salesforce Classic, although I can switch into Lightning if required.

    Try a "Leads" report type. Set the format to "matrix" and group the rows by Lead Owner. Then group the columns by Lead Source.

    Add the "Converted" checkbox as a datapoint in the table and select "Sum" for the aggregation option.

    Hide the details.

    So far, you should have this (but for multiple lead owners):

    Try a

    Now we just need to add the conversion ratio, which is the number of converted leads divided by the total number of leads for each intersection of data.

    Customize the report and add a custom summary formula:

    Lead Conversion Custom Summary Formula

    Here's the formula:

    IF(RowCount > 0,

        CONVERTED:SUM

        /

        RowCount,

    /*ELSE*/

        NULL

    )

    Run this report, and you should see the conversion rate at each intersection of data.
