I would like to be able to share a salesforce calendar with non-salesforce calendar users. Is there a way to do this by creating a tradional .ics shared calendar https URL?
I use a 3rd party calendar system for my non-salesforce users, but would like to control this calendar from salesforce.

The only sharing option for a Salesforce calendar is with another Salesforce user. One of the technical reasons for this is most likely due to the authentication required to read the data (ie logging in).
