I am wondering if there is a way to see when a report was last viewed/opened (when a user went under their reports tab and simply selected a report). I know there how to show when a report was last modified and I know one can run a report to see the 'Last Run' of all of their reports, but neither of those are solutions that I am looking for. From the research I've done so far, the 'Last Viewed' and 'Last Referenced' fields (that I have only seen thus far in Developer Documentation) would be very helpful in this case, but I am unsure if they support Report objects.
I'm not sure if I'm merely overlooking a filter or bucket field that I could be creating, or if this is a more complex problem. Is there some sort of app or analytics tool available for download that can do this? If I am unable to retroactively do this for reports, is there some setting I could change to allow me to see this data in the future?
I hope this query made sense as I am extremely new to Salesforce. I've tried looking through past answers and searching for something similar, but have yet to find anything. If there is an answer to this that I have overlooked, please do no hesitate to direct me there.

Good question! Using a report to 'report' on a report (Wooow) isn't possible (as far as I've seen). What you can do is running a SOQL query. So the report object has a couple of fields which can be relevant:
- LastViewedDate
- LastRunDate
These fields will give you the information on when the report was last viewed and when it was last run. A query like
SELECT Id, Name, LastViewedDate, LastRunDate FROM Report WHERE Id = '00O2400000XXXXX'
where you replace the Id by our report Id.
