Hi, I'm trying to create a reporting snapshot of opportunities need some help with developing the report I need. I understand that only summary fields can be mapped via the reporting snapshot (see my screenshot for my available mappings). My question is how can I present the standard opportunity data along with the snapshots in one report? Do I need to create a relationship between the opportunity object and the custom object where the snapshot data gets loaded to? Or is there some other way? Maybe a custom report type? My goal is to create a snapshot summary report like this:
- Account (summary group)
- Opportunity Name (summary group)
- Opportunity Standard Field 1 (e.g.; Close Date)
- Opportunity Standard Field 2 (e.g.; Owner)
- Opportunity Snapshot Custom Field 1 (Mapped from Opportunity Amount)
- Opportunity Snapshot Custom Field 2 (Mapped from Opportunity Age)
- Etc...
- Opportunity Name (summary group)
