Hello all,
I added {!ApprovalRequest.Comments} to my email template and seems to be working fine when the terms are rejected or approve, but it is not pulling data on initial request.
Am I missing anything?

I believe this merge field is to show comments that have been added to an approval process. So because on the initial request- no comment has been added yet, this field won't contain any information.
