I'm currently working with a new community and would like to know when users have self-registered. I have a field in the user object called '

Self-Registered via Customer Portal'. Is it possible to create an automatic field update to check this field when the customer registers on the community. Alternatively, is there an option to report the above in Salesforce, another way? (without the checking of the field being required) - For example, can I just report based on self-registrations on the community?

    Lee,

Did you try using "IsPortalSelfRegistered" field on user? this field Indicates whether the user is a Customer Portal user who self-registered for your organization's Customer Portal (true) or not (false). This field is not available for release 9.0 and earlier.

You can query this field from developer console or api tool like workbench.

Let me know if you need help in getting export for the field
