I am using a rather complex system of roll up summary fields & checkboxes to bring 'up' the Sum of an amount on the most recent child record, up to the parent.

The problem I am having is then clearing checkboxes on the child record once there is a new child record created (thus meaning it really is the 'most recent' amount rolling up). I have a Process Builder doing the job but it's requiring the User to manually go in a edit/save the second to last child record.

How am I able to 'trigger' this edit of the child record without a trigger? (I don't have easy access to a dev right now)

I am thinking I am going to have to create a time/date field on the parent, populating when any child record is attached to the parent, 'backdating' to 59 minutes ago, then create a workflow that triggers when the parent record is edited that fires 1 hour after the backdating time/date field. As mentioned I already have Process Builders waiting to fire, I really just need the re-editing of the parent record to trigger those, so the action of the workflow doesn't really matter. Does the editing of the parent force editing of the child records?

Seems fussy; any better ideas?!

Nate! I'm SO CLOSE I can smell it, but I just can't get it to fire! I might see if I can Prem Support to check what I have so far.

Thanks for your help. Foiled by Flows yet again...
