I am trying to use the monthly amount picklist field in the below formula. Ideally, we need the annula amount to default to $708, if monthly amount is $59 and $828 if $69. But the below error keeps popping " Error: Field Monthly_Amount__c is a picklist field. Picklist fields are only supported in certain functions."

Hi Vinitha,
In the screen shot mentione the value of Monthly Amount field is 59.00. So Make sure your formula has the same while comparing the picklist values like:
IF(ISPICKVAL( Monthly_Amount__c , "59.00"), 708, IF(ISPICKVAL(Monthly_Amount__c , "69.00"), 828, NULL) )
