
I currently create a lead for each product even if it is the same person, so we have duplicate leads and all the tasks, activities and campaigns are spread across the duplicated. Although this appears to be the correct lead management process it means that:
- I can't see all the information in one place
- When creating a campaign I have to add duplicate leads which skews the campaign ROI report.
So... what is the best way of managing leads for multiple products where campaign aren't always product-based?

The key is in the business process. that post explains that as soon as a Lead is viable, it gets converted to an Account/Contact, so there is only 1 record for each person (email). Your reps work with that 1 record to create Opportunities (sales cycles).
