Hello!

I have a Profile that has "Manage Exteranl Users", View All on Accounts, Read/Edit on Contacts. I have created a Public Group and added the 5 users in question from this profile into it and created a sharing rule for the Account Types we are using for our Community Users -- the Sharing rule gives Read/Write access to Accounts for the Public Group.

I've done all of this following this knowledge article: https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=000250967&type=1

However, the problem is that the users in the Public Group, with the Profile in question, can see "View Customer User" option, but not "Log in as Community User".

I've checked the Roles of the Account Owner vs the Public Group members, they are siblings. I even swapped out the Roles and the tried to make on of the Group members the Account Owner -- this still didn't make the option to Log in as the Community User available.

Is there an issue trying to get this setup in a Dev Sandbox vs. a Full or Pro Sandbox? What else am I missing/or should I look at? The documentation only says needing the "Manage External Users " and Edit on the Account -- I've see a few postings about the Roles which is why I mention my trials and no results.

Any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!!!

So I ran into this issue a few months ago? Are you running LEX or Classic? If LEX ensure that you've granted access to at least one standard field on the contact objext. The button will appear than, otherwise you'll need to access via Classic.  Again this is a super unqiue use case, but worth looking into.
