I am trying to figure out how to create a report for an object with multiple record types/page layouts. The object is a safety register record (which could be one of the various record types) and the trouble is once one record is expired, there is a new register created, so my report can have 3 of the same record type in it but only one is active. The dates will vary over years so there is no set date range i could identify by.
If I were to create a filter to pull only active ones I wouldn't be able to see the gaps of where an expired register hasn't been replaced with a new one.
Any suggestions?
