Will Salesforce still assign a case to a deactivated user or a frozen user if they are set up to be the case owner on a routing address?

Thank you.

SFDC helpdesk called me back on this. The answer is, basically, yes. If we do not manually delete any Email-to-Case Routing Information in the Email-to-Case Routing Addresses section that is set to assign it to a user who is now deactivated or frozen, anyone who has the create case button in their Outlook will still be able to select that routing name associated with the deactivated or frozen user.

It is not until those Routing Addresses/Routing Names are removed from your instance of Salesforce will they drop off of the Outlook accounts using the create case button. Users with the button in Outlook would need to first refresh/close their Outlook and reopen to find that the routing name was removed.
