Hi Bruce,
It's currently not possible to copy paste images in Rich Text fields. There is an idea which is under consideration (https://success.salesforce.com/ideaview?id=087300000007uOSAAY).
What you can do is use the 'Image' icon on the Rich Text editor. However you will first need to save your image locally to your desktop. And then upload it using the Image icon.
