Hi all,
I am trying to optimize our quotes and would like to have a quite specific description on our producs on there.
To that end, I would like to change the data type of the "Procuct Description" data type and the "Quote Line Item Description" data type from a "text" to "text area" and would like to have more than 255 chars. However, I don't seem to be able to edit the data type of these objects.
Can anyone help me to extend our product description?

Hi Markus,
It is the standard field that you can not change the data type. If you can create a new Text Area(Long) field and add that field into the Layout. Remove the standard one from the layout.
