Is it somehow possible, maybe with an app to not show "recent items" in the global search?
Since recent items won't display a secondary information it is quite hard to find the correct account.
E.g. all our account records have a secondary info item showing "account site" in the search result preview->this is crucial so you know which is the right account to select, because most of the time the account name is exactely the same->just the account site is differently:
ACME Inc
Site: New York
ACME Inc
Site: Boston
But if the account was recently clicked on->the search result preview will only show ACME....
