Creating a month by month, year over year sales report with line chart

Hi everyone!

 

I wish to create a report to help reps visualise where the current sales are as of right now, compared to last year, with a line chart.

 

To do this, I wish to break down the sales data by month and to report it as ‘’current fiscal year over last fiscal year’’ in a cumulative manner.

 

I’ve search far and wide with no sucess and suggestions from more experienced users would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

 

(I'm including below an example of what I'm aiming for)
