Android open salesforce1 from email

Hi- We have a standard SalesForce User that receives an partner community chatter post email on his Android.  When selecting the "view comment" button in his email, he should be directed to his installed SalesForce1 app, but instead is directed to a browser.

 

I know that partner community users need to log into SalesForce1 using a different connection, but this shouldn't be the case for direct users to use their SF1 app for both the standard SF environment and partner community environment.

 

How do we have adroid users automatically be redirected to the SF1 app when clicking in an email?

    On the user profile make sure Salesforce1 user check box is checked other wise it will try to open up in browser.
