Partner Community User's Manager is a Partner Community User

We have a weird Sales model that used to be an exception, and now seems to be a norm... We have a Partner Community team (Account 1) where the "CEO" of that account reports up to another Partner Community team's (Account 2) "CEO".  If the users in Account 1 are all all owners of their own records, and the CEO of Account 1 can see all of these records since they have the Executive role in Account 1, How can I have the CEO of Account 2 have visibility to all records in Account 1?

 

Is there an easier way to manage the hierarchy and access across different Partner Community Accounts, besides Sharing Settings?

    Hi Amber,

     

    It looks like your only option would be to utilize sharing rules (or perhaps apex sharing) since you are dealing with community users who are on different Accounts, and roles are only specific to the Account.
