How to change the position of e-mails from center to left using e mail templates

I find that having set up an e-mail template, the recipient receives same in the centre of the page.  How can I change this so that it prints out on the left?

Many thanks Brian but it does not work.  I understand this is an issue which SF is working on as many have complained about it
