Here is the problem I am trying to solve:
On the "My Tasks" sectoin of the Home Page, you cannot add "Account Name" as a column.
If the "Related to" Happens to be the Account Object, the Account Name will of course display.
What I would like to do is add a field on the Actvity Page Layout that will populate the Account Name if "Account" is NOT the related object.
The reason I want to do this is because if I have a list of tasks related to a contact on cases, opportunities, quotes, etc. unless the Account Name is somewhere in the subject or the title of the opportunity (for example) I don't know which account iit is.
Does this make sense?

It make sense, however this is not possible to do via customising.
You would need to engage some developer to implement such functionallity (and you need to have at least enterprise edition).
