Question about creating a specific formula.
I have a need to capture data from a picklist field on another opportunity within the same account. Essentially, I'm looking to capture the value of a field from the previous account's opportunity in a new field.
For example, last year's opp has a piclist value of "yes". I would like that "yes" to carry over to the latest opp on the account.
Is this possible?

How would you determine that an Opp on the Account is the "previous" Opp? If you can figure out the rule that makes an Opp eligible to be the 'previous Opp' ('most recent Closed Won Opp', 'most recent Open Opp in Stage X', etc) you could use a Process Builder Process or Workflow Rule to set an Account field when an Opp meets that criteria. Then, new Opps could use that Account field to set a value into one of their fields.
