Send Email to New Campaign Member Using Campaign Specific Template

Question

I would like to send an introductory email to a Campaign Member at the time they are added to the Campaign. Each Campaign would have its own unique email template & attached documents.

I can create a workflow that, when a new Campaign Member is added to a Campaign, sends out an email alert. But part of the email alert action is to specify the email template that should be used.

Rather than creating a new workflow for each Campaign, is there a way to set up an email notification that uses an email template based upon which Campaign the Member has been added to?

Hi Steve,   What you are looking for can not be achieved with salesforce out of the box features. To accomplish this you may have to write a trigger on Campaign Member object.   Thanks,   Naval
