Will Microsoft Outlook sync be affected by new Salesforce certificates?

Question

We currently synchronize our Microsoft Outlook Account with Salesforce for keeping track of e-mail messages and calendar events.  As we are new to Salesforce, will the upcomming change in certificates require that we make any changes to our systems to maintain synchronization? Thanks!

Hi Matthew, all the data that gets synced between your email server/exchange and SF gets encrypted over SSL certificates. As long as you are using certificates which are given here:  https://developer.salesforce.com/page/Outbound_Messaging_SSL_CA_Certificates   I don't think you should run into issues over certificates.    Hope this helps.
