We are looking to update our list of partner roles for the Opportunity but do not want to completely delete the existing values until we undergo a large data migration project. Is there a way to hide certain partner role values in the meantime and only expose valid partner roles to our end users?
So if we 'delete' the value from the Partner Role related list, do you know if the values will be deleted from the Opportunity too? Or will they remain and eventually have to be updated?
