I have faced an issue, and was unable to understand the root problem for a user that has CRED Permission set on contact object (but no permission in his profile for contact), when i log as this user , the new button appears but when i click it I get to an insufficient privilege page.
Do you have any idea what would be the issue?

Hi Saad,
Profile permissions are top most Permissions. Its override all other permissions. If you have given CRUD prmisison on sharing rule / roles / owd and other but not given any permission on profile, it overrides all. I suggest you set CRUD permission on Profile level.
