I've created a dashboard with some tables that summarize values by Record Type. I'd like to send out an alert when a specific total value is greater than 0 or just increased.
From what I've learned it's not possible to set up workflow rules that send out reports. But how about creating a workflow rule that sends an alert that the value has increased (greater than 0 or just increased)? However I couldn't find that option - looks like you need to specify a specific value.
'Subscribe' also seems irrelevant.
Would appreciate your help on this.

Ok. So if this is the only option, how can I send alerts one a specific subtotal? The report is group by a certain field, resulting in 2-3 subtotals in the dashboard. I'm only interested in one subtotal. When I click Subscribe, I can only see one option as a condition - Record Count - which I suppose refers to the total of all records.
The only solution I can think of here is to create a separate report with a filter to only show this certain field and subsrcibe to that report. But perhaps there's an easier solution?
