Is there a way to view other users' record updates in your Chatter feed?

If a user is following a record and a field value changes, it'll show up on their Home page Chatter feed. If I'm following that user and have View All, is there a way for me to also see the same feed item in my Chatter without actually following the record?

 

Use case: A boss wants to see all his agents' activities on their Leads/Opps on his Chatter feed but can't possibly go to each record to click follow.

    You might try installing an Auto-Follow package from the AppExchange, set up the boss to auto-follow every record possible.  That way, the 'in one feed' will be the boss's.

     

    Then wait for him or her to ask you to turn it off because there is so much noise, important posts are being lost.
