locked fields on edit screen

I have created a ton of fields for my opportunities.  Many are formulas such as Margin.  As per my companies process I have validation rules in place to check that if the margin is below a specific percentage, that the user is forced to acknowledge this and submit a deviation form, entering the executed files file and path in the system.

 

My issue is that when the validation rule triggers, I am on the edit screen and currently, NONE of my custom locked/formula fields show on the edit screen.  So they are told their margin is too low but have no way of seeing what it is set at until they save.  

 

Is there a way to have these fields display on the edit screen??  I am using the professional version.

    Hi Scott,

     

    i dont think the standard customisation can solve this,probably put up a query in the developers forum

     

    in the mean while a help page with the all the details of how the validations trigger can be put up for users
