I have a data loader query. Have been using Dataloader.io and Data Loader Wizard in Salesforce.
Scenario:
The "join date" field needs to be reset inorder to action workflows / triggers. I need to use the data loader to delete the date already in the field and then a second data load to add the new join date.
There doesn't seem to be a way to update a field with no value. Any ideas.

Using dataloader.io, on the final screen where it shows the number of records to be changed, there is an Advanced section where you can configure the job to update blanks.
But why do it in 2 jobs instead of just setting your dates to the new dates?
