Looking for a way to remotely automate leads status

Does anyone know of an app, or other solution, that would allow us to send an email with a widget, or something that the recipient could update the status of a lead back into salesforce. We deal with mostly 3rd party people who are not salesforce users so we need to find a way to automate status updates. We have Unlimited edition.

    Not sure about apps, would be interested here if anyone posts suggestion.

    You could create an visualforce page which you can email out to non Salesforce users. This can be delivered via sites and work unauthenticated. It's a simple page which allows them to update lead status and/or discrete set of related leads field then submit the update - following or lost?
