When i restrict at Profile for the Object BY giving the Access for READ and VIEW ALL as .The object will restrict the fields.
For Example :For Profile "Sys Admin" ,Custom Object Say "SFB" -- i have given access as to Read ,Create ,Edit , Delete ,view All and Modify All.
For Profile "Support Sys Admin" ,Custom Object Say "SFB" -- i have given access as to Read ,View All only.So will this profile have only Read Access for the object or else it has edit option also.I need to just give Read Only .
At Field level Security do i need to restrict the Access of field as Read Only.Bcoz when i see the field at FLS ...the standard field appears as "READ ONLY" (i.e.Createdby ,Last modified by etc) whereas the custom field appears as Hidden.So this is right or i need to change the field access to visible and readonly.
Any help very much appreciated.
