I have a requirement where i need to give the BUtton CLOSE (Mass Closer of cases) access to few profiles and limited users.
So i tried something like creating a Validation rule ,but it does not works.

(ISPICKVAL(Status,"Closed" ))
&&
(($Profile.Name ="Service Cloud-Sr.Agent" ||
$Profile.Name ="Service Cloud -Agent"))
&&
(( $User.Id ="00550000004UZKb")) ,
false
)
Error Message : For particular profile or user id : their have access for the closer of cases.
But what happens ,when i try login with system admin profile and go for mass closer of cases it works.But it should not work.
Any help very much appreciated.

Your final 'false' is a condition of the AND so it makes sure that the Validation Rule will never be true. Can I suggest you use the AND and OR functions to make your formula easier for you to read and understand. AND(
ISPICKVAL(Status,"Closed" ),
OR(

$Profile.Name ="Service Cloud -Agent"
),
