I was just wondering What will happen to the oppertunities once they reach there close date? will they be deleted or what will happen?

Hi Niall
The purpose of the close date is to be able to forecast activity. We use this in conjuction with a Stage. So I might be looking to sell 100 widgets in January but I've just started negotiating it, I'll set the Stage to Prospect and enter a close date as January. If in my discussions I think I may close it earlier I'll move the date to December to allow the business visibility of that.
