Can I make a custom button on my Activity History Section that would auto create a "logged call task" with the type of "Call - no Message Left" Automatically populated?

We are trying to streamline the way that we call our cutomers by allowing reps to log call completed task with the type "call - no message left" with one click. Does anyone know how I can do this? I would also like to do a similar button that created a completed task with the type of call - voicemail.

 

Right now we have the standard log a call buttom in that section but Iwould like the reps to not have to manually choose what type of call it was every time.

 

Any ideas?

    Absolutely. You just need to create a custom List Button on the Activity object.

     

    Click Setup > Customize > Activities > Task Buttons, Links, and Actions > New Button or Link

     

    You need to start with the Log a Call URL which looks something like this:

     

    /00T/e?title=Call&what_id={!Account.ID}&followup=1&tsk5=Call&retURL=%2F{!Account.ID}&ent=Task

     

    You then need to hack it using the following URL hack guide:
