donor badges?

I saw this article on creating donor badges https://powerofus.force.com/articles/Best_Practice_Business_Process/Adding-Badges-to-Contact-Records but it doens't quite give me enough info to be able to do it. Please guide me - create a new custom formula field? If so, then please provide formula that I can copy and paste (I'm code illiterate when it comes to SF). Thank you.

    You will need to download the badges (images) and store it in Salesforce as Static Resource as shown in the link you provided. Follow the instructions to create a text formula field and how to refer to the badges stored. Have a go and let us know if you have any issues. cheers!
