How do I create a distribution list

I have a list of partners with email addresses and need to create a distribution list that I can use to send information and announcements on a regular basis. Anyone help me to create this? Other option is that I have the distribution list in Outlook, is there a way to export that list into Salesforce?

    Search the salesforce help files for "Mass Email".  It will provide lots of documentation on how to send emails to multiple Contacts at once.

     

    And that's an important distinction, in salesforce you are not just sending to a list of email addresses.  Each email address has to be part of a Contact record.
