Pointing back to an object

I have created an object, called "customer information" that is linked to an account object.  I would like to use the CI object to autopopulate the case object as a URL that points back to the CI object.  Will appreciate any comments. Thanks!

    Thanks for the answer Nash.  But you'll probably have to give it to me in laymen terms.  I'm still a newbie.Thanks!  Hopefully what I am saying makes sense?  I can do it now as a look-up field on the case that finds the object and popiulates it.  But I would like to autopopulate with the CI URL info into a case field, when i create a case that is from a particular account.
