How do I rollup non-repeated values?

Question

There is a custom object called Feature that has related items called Feedback. Each Feedback item is associated with one account (lookup value, not master-detail) and each account has rollup fields for total closed won and total open opportunities.

So, for each Feature, I want to display the total closed won and total open amount for each account only once. If I summarize and an account is related to more than one Feedback item, then I'm double-counting that account's opp amounts.

Any way I can do this without programming in either the Feature object or in a report?

Hi Gail - I am not quite sure if this can be done over Roll-Up summary but you can try using the Power of One in Reports!

Here's a quick guide for you to setup the formula and you should be fine handling non-repeated values in your calculations!
