when we convert a lead to an account it automatically picks the "PROOF" RECORD TYPE for the new account. Is there any way for us to choose which account RECORD TYPE the lead should be converted to before creating the new account?
+1 @Subra -- when a User does a Lead Convert, the record type used is the default record type for that User. As an Admin, you can write the Workflow Rule Field Update to set the record type.
