How on earthe do i delete my chatter account and start again.

Is it just me that finds chatter really hard to navigate? all i want to do is delete my account but i cant see any options for it anywhere...

    I'm asking this because I have been invited to join a group in another network but can't. Do you know of any other way to do this at all? I'm not sure that the moderator of my current group is even working at this company any more.
