How can I remove products from an archived price book?

I'm cleaning up our products and I want to delete everything that's not associated with an Opportunity. I am unable to use the mass delete function as certain products are associated with an archived price book. 

 

Can I delete the archived price book? 

 

If not, can I remove products from that price book?

    Hi Jaya,

     

    I went through a long troubleshooting process with someone from SF and it turns out that it's not possible to do anyt of the things I mentioned. Once price book is deleted, it cannot be edited and products cannot be removed from it.

     

    Not the best functionality but I guess thats life ...
