Time Based Worflow in Sandbox?

We have a Developer Sandbox and I have configured some time based workflow in there, but can't see to get any of it to fire.  Do they fire in Sandbox?  I couldn't find documentation on it.

    Yes it fires in my production sandbox, I have not tried in developer org.
