So I have a workflow formula that currently reads:

INCLUDES( Classification__c, "Certified ShellacPro" ) && ISCHANGED( ReCertification_Date__c ) && NOT(ISBLANK( ReCertification_Date__c ))

The rule is evaluated when a record is created, and every time it's edited.

What I'd like to do is add another filter to say AND "Last Modified By" does not  = a specific user. When I've tried this using the User ID, the workflow email keeps firing. So should I be using the User ALIAS? And if so, how would this formula then be written?

    Stefanie, just change it to be this:

    INCLUDES( Classification__c, "Certified ShellacPro" ) && ISCHANGED( ReCertification_Date__c ) && NOT(ISBLANK( ReCertification_Date__c )) && $User.Alias <> 'Insert Alias for excluded user'

    That's it! Make sure you insert the correct alias.
