If you have enabled 'enhanced lists' (Setup->Customize->User Interface), you can use the List View on the Leads tab to show the fields you want to change. Then, select the Leads you want to 'edit' and double click to edit one of the fields. You'll be asked whether you want to edit just that record or all the selected records.
On the Leads tab, create a new View (if needed) to include the fields you want to edit, and show the Leads you are interested in
