Long Text Area ... Does not seem to have a carriage return on Display Screen ...

Question

Hi ... I have several Long Text Area "Comment" fields with a lenth of 10,000.

When they are populated they display from left to right as one single line with no carriage return, for example:

Comment: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

This pushes the fields on the right side of the screen as far to the right as the Comment is long.

Is there any way to have the Comment to display like this:

Comment: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

George, I moved all description fields in a silgle column page layout section. May be you try this.    Click Ranch symbol (tool) on your page layout section and make it single column and see how it displays.

Hi Syed ... I am not sure, the Compatibility Setting has Salesforce in it.   One thing I noticed is that your screen shot has only one column while my screen has two columns.   George ...
