#Salesforce CMS has helped turn many forums, portals, help centers, B2B Commerce storefronts, and other digital properties powered by #Experience Cloud into compelling digital experiences that keep customers coming back and buying more. And our standard CMS components are pretty powerful and flexible, making your site compelling and highly personalized. But there's plenty of room for organic innovation with CMS, and that's exactly what motivated @Frank Caron and me to release the new Salesforce CMS Component Starter Pack! And as of RIGHT NOW, the listing and source code are live and available to customers! ๐

The CMS Component Starter Pack has components that dynamically choose and display relevant CMS content on Experience Cloud pages:
- โ ๏ธ CMS Content for This Topic: Create dynamic โvirtual collectionsโ of CMS content on each Topic detail page in a community.
- โ ๏ธ CMS Content for This Record: Create a dynamic โvirtual collectionโ of CMS content related to a particular record (Case, Account, custom object, etc) in a community.
These CMS components put hyper-relevant CMS content right where your users happen to be: working with records, browsing discussion topics, or searching for expertise.
The components also have flexibility designed in!
- Use any CMS content type with a text or image node.
- Configure CMS field mappings to display what you want.
- Two collection formats today: Carousel and Grid/Strip.
And weโre not leaving DEVELOPERS out of the fun! These components are open-source, with full source code released under our Salesforce Labs GitHub account:

Weโre hoping this gives folks a great starting point for CMS-related Lightning Web Components in Experience Cloud!
