We are converting to Lightning over the weekend and just finished testing with some power users in a sandbox.  A key piece of feedback we received that was shared by everyone (including me) is that required fields are not noticeable enough.  One of the testers is color blind, so being able to see required fields was particularly hard for him.  Can you please consider increasing the font size of the asterisk quite a bit and making it bold or something like that?
