On my survey welcome page I have a couple of short paragraphs (word count of 504 and 597 with spaces according to Word). When I go to save it in surveys, I get two red errors "Correct the errors in the highlighted pages, then save or activate the survey" at the top of the page. I get another error on the page "Enter up to 1,000 characters.". Yes, I can reduce the character count and it will save, but I do have way less than 1000 characters. Any other suggested solutions?
If you click on the little i box, you get this message:
The character count includes rich text formatting and merge fields. Behind the scenes, formatting and merge fields count against the number of available characters.
Try removing all formatting from your paragraphs. If this saves, add formatting back slowly, saving often to see what you can get away with.
