Hi there,
we have a requirement that any file uploaded should only be visible by the user himself and that all current files (which are already uploaded) shall not be accessible anymore by community users.
After a user uploads a file he/she should then decide on which groups/users and partner comunities the files are getting shared with and who is actually able to see them. Usually the files are uploaded via an opportunity but its not limited to that.
Do you have any recommendations on how to achieve that?
I had a look at https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=networks_visibility.htm&type=5 and it says that "Visible: Files in libraries are visible, regardless of the community where the files were uploaded. For a file on a record to be visible, the community must have access to the record and to the library the file is in."
Thats exaclty what I want to avoid :-)
Thank you!
@Michael Memelink - I will be interested to hear how the community responds to this. I have a similar issue. Files that are being attached to Opps or Emails are being duplicated in our system. It is frustrating the team.
